Lucas is a cross-platform simple federated Internet messaging protocol.

Instant messaging should be simple, so we stripped out the bloat. The official server for Lucas is just 90 MB (less, if you use a community-made server).

Messaging is fun again.

We brought back the best parts of old messaging. You can turn it off if you're boring, though.

Since the official server is open-sourced, anyone can peek in the code and check out bugs to squash.
